1. Eligibility and acceptance

Welkoop Verolme Holding B.V. provides educational services only. The Services do not provide professional services that are regulated or require licensing. We do not provide consulting, financial services, legal services, accounting, investment services, recruitment, employment placement, healthcare services, immigration services, software development, engineering services, or government-recognised certification services. Content is provided for informational and educational purposes and should be applied thoughtfully in your own context.

Participation in educational programmes does not guarantee employment, promotions, certifications, salary increases, business success, or financial outcomes. Outcomes vary based on individual circumstances, experience, role requirements, and workplace environment.

3. Service description and changes

We may offer programme descriptions, durations, agendas, learning objectives, and sample materials on the website. These are provided to explain the scope of learning content. We may update, revise, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time, including modifying lesson structure, templates, exercises, and schedules for workshops. Any updates are intended to improve clarity and learning value, but we do not guarantee that any particular programme will always be available.

The website, course materials, templates, workbooks, text, graphics, design elements, and all other content provided by Welkoop Verolme Holding (the “Content”) are owned by or licensed to Welkoop Verolme Holding B.V. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Content for your personal learning and internal workplace skill development. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, publicly display, or create derivative works from the Content without our prior written permission, except where such use is permitted by mandatory law.

7. User submissions

Do not submit sensitive personal data through free-text fields. This website is not intended to collect special-category personal data.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Welkoop Verolme Holding B.V. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Services.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claims arising out of or related to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) €100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In those cases, the limitations in this section apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Welkoop Verolme Holding B.V. from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Force majeure

We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, war, labour disputes, pandemics, internet outages, cyberattacks, and failures of hosting or cloud infrastructure providers.

13. International use

The Services are operated from the Netherlands and offered online to learners throughout Canada. We make no representation that the Services are appropriate or legally available in every location. You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with applicable local laws.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise, any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services will be submitted to the competent courts of Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory rights under the consumer protection laws of your country or province of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits such rights where they apply.

15. Dispute resolution

Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to contact us and provide a short description of the issue. We will try to resolve disputes informally within 30 days. This does not limit your right to seek urgent relief where appropriate.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you breach these Terms or if your use creates security, legal, or operational risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Welkoop Verolme Holding B.V. regarding the Services and supersede any prior communications relating to the Services.

19. Assignment and no waiver

We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will become effective 14 days after they are posted on this page, unless a shorter period is required for security or legal compliance reasons. The “Last Updated” date will reflect the most recent revision.

21. Electronic communications

By using the Services and contacting us electronically, you consent to receiving communications from us electronically. You agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing, in accordance with applicable electronic transaction laws.
