Last Updated: March 18, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website operated by Welkoop Verolme Holding B.V. (“Welkoop Verolme Holding”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), and any related online education services offered through this website (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Welkoop Verolme Holding B.V. is based at Achterstrypseweg 15, 3235 NB Rockanje, Netherlands. Our programmes are delivered online and are made available to learners throughout Canada. All content and services provided through this website are educational in nature.
1. Eligibility and acceptance
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority in your province or territory of residence, you may use the Services only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Education-only positioning and important disclaimers
Welkoop Verolme Holding B.V. provides educational services only. The Services include online courses, webinars, virtual workshops, downloadable learning materials, templates, and self-paced professional development programmes on topics such as business administration, workplace communication, leadership development, project management fundamentals, productivity improvement, and organisational effectiveness.
The Services do not provide professional services that are regulated or require licensing. We do not provide consulting, financial services, legal services, accounting, investment services, recruitment, employment placement, healthcare services, immigration services, software development, engineering services, or government-recognised certification services. Content is provided for informational and educational purposes and should be applied thoughtfully in your own context.
Participation in educational programmes does not guarantee employment, promotions, certifications, salary increases, business success, or financial outcomes. Outcomes vary based on individual circumstances, experience, role requirements, and workplace environment.
3. Service description and changes
We may offer programme descriptions, durations, agendas, learning objectives, and sample materials on the website. These are provided to explain the scope of learning content. We may update, revise, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time, including modifying lesson structure, templates, exercises, and schedules for workshops. Any updates are intended to improve clarity and learning value, but we do not guarantee that any particular programme will always be available.
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Occasional interruptions can occur due to hosting, network, or maintenance needs. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
4. Registration and communications
Registration or enquiries are handled through our online forms. You agree to provide accurate and current information. If you submit details for someone else, you confirm you have the authority to do so and that the individual is aware their information will be used to respond to the request.
When you contact us, we may respond by email or phone using the details you provide. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe; however, response times can vary based on volume and the nature of the request.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Services. In particular, you must not:
- Use the Services for unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent purposes.
- Attempt to bypass security measures, probe vulnerabilities, or interfere with normal site operation.
- Introduce malware, automated scripts, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or access data without authorisation.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the website in a way that burdens the infrastructure or violates robots directives.
- Impersonate another person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
- Send spam, bulk messages, or automated submissions through contact or registration forms.
We may suspend or restrict access to the Services if we reasonably believe your use violates these Terms or creates security, legal, or operational risk.
6. Intellectual property
The website, course materials, templates, workbooks, text, graphics, design elements, and all other content provided by Welkoop Verolme Holding (the “Content”) are owned by or licensed to Welkoop Verolme Holding B.V. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Content for your personal learning and internal workplace skill development. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, publicly display, or create derivative works from the Content without our prior written permission, except where such use is permitted by mandatory law.
7. User submissions
If you submit information through forms (such as questions, comments, or learning goals), you grant us the right to use that information to respond to you and to provide learner support. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
Do not submit sensitive personal data through free-text fields. This website is not intended to collect special-category personal data.
8. Third-party services and links
The Services may reference third-party tools or resources. Any third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services and Content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that Content will be complete, accurate, or suitable for your specific goals.
Educational content is necessarily general. Applying learning materials in real environments requires judgment, adaptation, and consideration of local rules and organisational policies.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Welkoop Verolme Holding B.V. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Services.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claims arising out of or related to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) €100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In those cases, the limitations in this section apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Welkoop Verolme Holding B.V. from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Force majeure
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, war, labour disputes, pandemics, internet outages, cyberattacks, and failures of hosting or cloud infrastructure providers.
13. International use
The Services are operated from the Netherlands and offered online to learners throughout Canada. We make no representation that the Services are appropriate or legally available in every location. You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with applicable local laws.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise, any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services will be submitted to the competent courts of Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory rights under the consumer protection laws of your country or province of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits such rights where they apply.
15. Dispute resolution
Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to contact us and provide a short description of the issue. We will try to resolve disputes informally within 30 days. This does not limit your right to seek urgent relief where appropriate.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you breach these Terms or if your use creates security, legal, or operational risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
18. Entire agreement
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Welkoop Verolme Holding B.V. regarding the Services and supersede any prior communications relating to the Services.
19. Assignment and no waiver
We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
20. Modifications to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will become effective 14 days after they are posted on this page, unless a shorter period is required for security or legal compliance reasons. The “Last Updated” date will reflect the most recent revision.
21. Electronic communications
By using the Services and contacting us electronically, you consent to receiving communications from us electronically. You agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing, in accordance with applicable electronic transaction laws.
